A new dawn - Randy arrives in Silverrun
A new dawn is definitely the best description of my life right now. Pretty cryptic way to start a blog huh? Perhaps I should introduce myself first - I'm Randy and yes this is my blog/online diary.
Me - obviously
So why a new dawn is the logical question I suppose, well because I need a fresh start - I wont/cant go into my past but I needed to get away, that's why I have moved from New Jersey to Silverrun. I figure it's enough distance to keep my past behind me and to atone, at least to some extent, for the things I have done.
Silverrun is stunning though, it sits in the Olympic National Park a couple of hours out of Seattle and I am already in love with the town, it is a stunning part of the country. I wont lie though, as the bus came into Silverrun I got total Twin Peaks vibes but now I've been here a few days I know this is going to work out for me.
No-one here knows me (that is a good thing) so I can be who I want t be and I will do better. I have a good bit of money to get myself set up so I will spend a few days looking around for any land that is for sale - see I KNOW farming, I mean I REALLY know farming. I will get my head down and work my ass off and I will make a new life for myself.

Anyway for now I am staying at a local motel and I really need to find a cheap truck so I can get out and explore a bit - I got talking to a couple of guys at the local bar last night and they said there are several plots of land for sale but I can't get out and view them without my own transport.
Probably a good place to sign off, hopefully next time I blog I will have a set of wheels and maybe even a plot of land - wish me luck.
