If you have ever run a farm you will know that the work never really stops - I'm definitely learning that. I wa sgoing to take a week off but you know what? I really wanted to get the field ready for another crop, especially as I have already most of the money I made.
Speculate to accumulate and all that.
I should probably go into a bit more detail though right?

Okay the BIG news (drum roll), I no longer need to stay at the hotel. Honestly it's huge bloody news. Don't get me wrong - Clark runs a great place but no-one wants to spend their whole life living out of a hotel room.
A home away from home
Ok so elephant in the room - yes it's a caravan but man it feels so good to just close the door and relax in my own space. Would I like a house- well yeah, of course but the reality is I couldn't afford a house. I bought a field roller as well and treated myself to a boys toy (more on that in my next entry) so now I have $25k in the bank.
I could have done without a roller but it will pay for itself when I harvest my next crop - this time I want to really prepare the field before I put a crop in and a roller will definitely increase my next yield so I think a good buy even if it cost a lot.
Ready to go again
It took me a couple of days but I got the field turned over so my next job is to get it rolled and fertilized then I get get my second crop in and get back to taking down some more trees.
It might be hard work but I love it and I can't express here how rewarding it is when that crop starts showing.
