It took me the best part of a week but I got the field planted again so the waiting game begins. Again. It is going to be longer this time though - I switched it up and opted for Canola this time. Yes the harvest time is longer but I will make more money out of it so hopefully that will offset the longer growth time. Can I say longer enough times?.
I also spent a lot of money. Again. I bought a mobile workshop cum fuel tanker - again, could I have done without it? well at this point yes but like the field roller it will pay for itself when I'm not paying mechanic costs for vehicle repairs and tune ups that I can handle myself.

So what's the plan now? well I will take down some more trees around the edges but before that I am taking a well deserved break - I figure why not take advantage of the caravan and go on a little trip for a few days? The plan is to take a ride down to Goldcrest Valley and I'm thinking maybe stay for three or four days. I would take a week out but I have a couple of additions to the farm coming shortly (more of that money I have been spending).

I was hoping to get on the road early but Betty from Town Hall sent me a couple of texts and a voice mail that she needs to talk to me. I tried calling her back but no answer and she sent me another message indicating I need to speak to her a matter of urgency - I could leave it until I get back but better safe than sorry I will stop in before I leave and see what the urgent matter is.
Anyway I have a few bits to take care of before I go so until next time...
