So 2025 is starting with some bad news.
It is absolutely my own fault - I got a little bit too into the whole festive spirit and did not pay proper attention to my crops.
Yeah the frost got them - killed everything. It will also teach me not to plant so late in the year - I need to do better.
I'm not going to let it drag me down though 2025 is here so lets make it a better year than 2024 (a great year in its own right).
Anyway I have been out and taken a look at the fields and I won't be doing anything yet as we have snowy weather so there's no point even trying to prepare fields in this weather - the forecast for next week is dry and sunny so that will do me fine.

I won't lie either - as great as Christmas was I am itching to get back to farming. Farming is one of those jobs that quickly becomes a passion - no-one treats farming as a 9-5 job - it gets into your mind and your heart.
WOW that was deep, for me anyway, but the point is I want to be busy again. As I have said more than once this is the year I want things to start happening. The foundations are in place now it is time to build upon them.
As I have said (written) several times now I have some big ideas and the news that Betty gave me before Christmas will give me a head start for sure.
SO lets make 2025 a year to remember.
