So I don't know if I am making things better or worse for myself but I had to do something so yeah I took action against Rennie. Lets back up a bit though first.
I spoke to Kate, obviously she knows what is going on with me and Rennie, and she agreed to go with me to visit Mike. I asked her why she wanted to get involved in all this and she told me that aside from her dislike of Rennie and how he does business her family has a personal history with him as well, particularly her parents - I didn't push her as to what happened with them I figure she will tell me if or when she wants to.
Anyway I called Mike and her agreed to speak with us one evening after hours - he always closes early on a Tuesday so we set it up.
I asked him the same question I asked Kate - why did he want to get involved? Unlike Kate he doesn't have any personal history with Rennie, but like Kate he has had enough of seeing how Rennie treats people.
Anyway turns out Mike knows a reporter for a local paper who has been dying to expose Rennie for a few years now - we set up an interview with her so I can outline what has been going on with myself and also what we know about Rennie and the Russo brothers. I guess then it is down to Mikes reporter friend to investigate further.
Naomi - local reporter
Have I made the right move here? I am questioning myself - I mean he won't know it has anything to do with me (I hope) - apparently Naomi has been trying to expose him for a long time.
But.
I guess he might have some suspicions about the timing of it, especially given what has gone on between us. I'm just going to carry on keeping my head down and play dumb if anyone asks me. I trust that Kate and Mike will do the same.
That aside I visited the yard and it is almost done, I wish I could be more excited but everything else that is going on has put paid to that. Fingers, and toes, crossed that Naomi finally finds something she can stick to Rennie and perhaps give him something else to worry about aside from me.
