Now it's real, Betty at town hall call me yesterday and confirmed the purchase had gone through so I know officially own my own field. I keep pinching myself and I have been grinning all day but then reality sets in - this is where it begins now it is on me to make a go of this.

Silverrun Town Hall
I've been out there a few times (everyday) and it's a decent plot of land with a field that has already been dug out so that is a plus - the downsize is the crop that was planted has pretty much withered so before I can plant anything I will need to get rid of that. I This really is where the real work starts, I have a decent amount of cash but not enough that I don't need to be careful. The field cost a good sum and I need to buy machinery, crops, fertilizer and as I mentioned already I can't stay at the hotel forever.
All mine
My truck but sadly not my house
So there is only one dealership in Silverrun meaning my choices are limited when it comes to purchasing equipment. I need a tractor, of course, a plough, a seeder, a fertilizer, a combine and a header as a minimum. I wont lie I am a bit worried that I will have enough money for everything. I was also expecting that the building on the edge of the land would come with it but apparently is doesn't (it would have really helped my living situation and saved me on hotel bills). I spoke to Betty about it but she seemed strangely tight lipped other than to say it is owned by Silverrun and well that was about it.
I'm new in town so I don't want to rock the boat, yet, so I will discreetly ask around town and see if I can find out anymore details - I really cannot see any reason why I can't use it myself. I think I will see if any of the locals have any surplus equipment that they would be happy to sell although there are not many farms in the area.
But I am still excited, hopeful and yes a little bit apprehensive. I came to Silverrun to start a new life and this is the first step. Anyway I will sign off now and head into town for a bite to eat - tomorrow I will start ordering equipment.
