I made it here in pretty good time (Goldcrest Valley) but honestly after the bombshell Betty dropped on me this morning I nearly cancelled at at the last minute - I am SO glad I didn't though - I will come back to that later.
Ok bombshell? Well yes but I should clarify good bombshell - great, amazing, fantastic bombshell.
I really want to blab it all now but I don't want to risk jinxing it. Stupid I know - it's only me who will probably ever read this and even if anyone else does read this it will be far into the future anyway...
Honestly though even saying it out loud feels like I might spoil it. For now I am going to sit on it until I have something more concrete to share. I will say that OMG it's a game changer for me.
Anyway. Holiday.
There's worse views out there
It's a lovely spot to unwind - I mean not as pretty as Silverrun, and yes I AM biased but there are a lot of worse places to go for a break. And oh man did I need a break, I guess when you are on the daily grind you don't realise but after a day of doing very little my mind and body were thanking me.
Home away from home

I'm going to come clean though - the main reason I am soooo glad I didn't cancel at the last minute is the Stanley Bakery, or more importantly the waitress I met on my second visit. It's fair to say we hit it off - really hit it off - and I was in there every day after that. She offered to show me around over the weekend but as much as I wanted to I couldn't hold off getting back to Silverrun - I had guys arriving to install some much needed features.
My new favourite bakery Sheds
Yeah so it sucks that I had to leave before the weekend but on the other hand I can finally store my equipment properly and give it all, a much needed, clean.
Anyway we swapped numbers and have been texting and calling each other every night. Fingers, and toes, crossed that I will be able to get back over to Goldcrest soon.
But before then I have a meeting at town hall to attend and the crop will need fertilizing so yeah I'm going to be busy. As always
Exciting times ahead dear diary - journal?
I think dear diary sounds better
Okay now I am waffling so time to say goodnight and head out for a bite to eat and a drink with Chuck.
