Have you ever had a day that you just don't want to end? Well that was my weekend. All the worrying I did over the caravan was for nothing - Charisma didn't care at all in fact she was quite taken by it and ended up spending her last night with me rather than the hotel. She also loved the farm - I mean really - she was in the field checking out my canola crop, she had a hundred questions about the growing process, she was all up in my tractor and harvester - yeah she really seemed to have a great time.

She picked up some books and seemed to hit it off with Maggie, she also met Betty (it's a small town after all) and we just had a really nice time together.
I told her my plans once I get the grant money and she was really excited about it and we went to the farmers market Saturday morning and cooked together in the evening.
I was really sad to see her go but I will visit her again in a couple of weekends time - you know I DO have a farm to run and grant money to spend. The thing about farming is that there will be times when the workload is not as demanding, well for a small farm like mine anyway.
Yeah I could - should - be taking down some more trees while I have some down time but they can wait a little longer.
All things considered life is going great at the moment.
