So I had the best weekend with Charisma.
As I said last week there's nothing to be done around the farm at the moment and she was able to get a long weekend from work so we took a drive out to Port Angeles and did some Christmas shopping.
It's a real gem of a place as well - I was actually thinking of flying out to Seattle but I'm glad I didn't. I mean nothing against Seattle but boy Port Angeles was a treat. And I got all my Christmas shopping done as well.
It was a bit chilly on the waterfront
We got ourselves in at a charming hotel on the waterfront and just had a very -very -relaxed weekend of shopping, eating, seeing the sights and maybe a few evening drinks.
We talked about the farm as well and it turns out Charisma has a few ideas of her own around how I could expand it in the future.
She has also given me a great idea for the future but I won't say anything more just yet.
I also learnt that Charisma LOVES vintage stuff - that's going to tie in great with the idea she gave me as well.
Anyway we are back home now and Charisma has headed off back to Goldcrest.
Christmas on Main St
As for me I am enjoying a coffee and the Christmas view of main street while I draw up a few plans for the farm - as I said I won't give anything away right now but if it all goes the way I hope it will my life is going to change again and for the better.
It has just struck me that I have a lot of presents to wrap -yeah this is going to be fun. It has been a LONG time since I have wrapped a present.
I wonder if Betty knows anyone lol
